Easter 2020

We tried to make the best of Easter this year. Shannon still organized an Easter egg hunt for our friend group which meant getting her a couple bags of filled eggs, her combining them, and distributing them back out for us to hide for the kiddos. We did an Easter themed snack lunch post for HMC the boys thought was really fun, decorated eggs, the Easter Bunny put a few things in the boys' baskets, we had a "fancy" breakfast, and an egg hunt that Nonna and Pepe Facetimed to watch. After the hunt the boys opened some gifts from Uncle Kyle and family. The girls had done a bunch of crafts including an egg hunt of their own. We had a big group Zoom with both sides of my family. It was hard not seeing everyone in person but we haven't had so many of us together at one time in years so that was a nice silver lining. All in the all the day was okay and we made the best of having to shelter in place instead of hosting our normal large family and friends event. I did joke that it was the least stressful and inexpensive Easter I've ever hosted, so I guess there is that too!!!
