Too bad they lost - at least they have a team Mascot to console them!!!
To kick off our long Halloween weekend Michael and Megan brought us dinner on Thursday night and got to spend some quality time with the little man. They made yummy soup and Megan got Reed to fall asleep so we were pretty excited about their visit. Michael just had hernia surgery so the two of us got to compare surgical battle stories too.

So in our house Halloween is a very big deal. It is one of two holidays Jon approves of decorating for and we LOVE dressing up for our annual party as well. Not to be left out Reed got to join in some Halloween fun this year too.
If you are going to celebrate a holiday you should make
sure your pajamas follow through with the theme!

I swear that is a pillow and not baby weight!
Sunday lounge attire
On Sunday afternoon Jon's college roommate Adam and his wife Marli stopped by on their way back to Oakland from Los Angeles so we could meet their 4 month old son Cole. We were of course thrilled to see them and catch up, but also excited to get a preview of what Reed might be like in a few months.
Hopefully there are many more play dates in our future!
By the time Halloween finally came around, you would think we would be exhausted (and we were), but we hosted a Chili dinner so that everyone could help us give out candy to the neighborhood kids and get to see Reed dressed up one more time.
My two favorite Pirates
This year I decided not to dress Dodger up. The Halloween party wasn't going to be at our house and he always seems to hate the costumes when I put them on him. I think I may have hurt his feelings though, because I lost him in the house once again and this time found him somwhere he has never been before!!!
