Big Cuz

This past weekend my Brother was out of down so his wife Kari and daughter Annaliese headed our way for a visit. We've all been wrapped up in being new parents since the fall and sometimes you take for granted that you are also an Uncle or an Aunt to a new little one. We missed Kyle, but Jon, Kari, and I got to get some quality Niece and Nephew time in on Saturday along with Grandma Kelley and Papa Jay of course!

Reed and Annaliese reaffirmed how great it is going to be to have a cousin that is the same age as they grow up. They are complete opposites so far, but I think that is great because they will be able to teach the other so much. He is a bruiser, she is dainty. She sleeps through the night all of the time, he has slept through the night only twice. He is anxious, she is content. They both really love to observe and figure things out but she is reserved, and he is boisterous about it. He is a DUDE and she is a LADY. At 5 Months old, she weighs what Reed weighed at 2 months. She is along for the ride and he is driving the car. I could go on, but you get the picture.

Saturday morning Reed and I met up with Grandma Kelley, Aunt Kari, and Annaliese to go for a run. After they both had a chance to nap we met back up at Grandma and Papa Jay's house to spend the afternoon together. Jon took over photo duties for most of the day so unfortunately we don't have any pictures of him with the kiddos this time around.

Great Papa Dean and Great Grandma Didi were able to stop by for a little while to see both of the Great-Grandbabies. We were even able to get a decent picture before Reed went down for his nap.

The next cousin play date is planned for about six weeks from now, we can't wait!!!
