Nonna's Pajama Train Birthday

This year C, Tio, Jon, and I tried to plan something well ahead of time to celebrate Nonna's Birthday. The Ketelsens were going to be out of town for her actual Birthday and since it gets easily mixed up in the holiday shuffle the thought was to do something special for her in advance. Since Nonna does love Christmas lights and her grandkids we decided to buy tickets to Hillcrest's Pajama Train. We planned a Birthday dinner beforehand and gift opening after, with a slumber party to top it all off. Nonna was excited to spend time with everyone and we tried to make it as stress free as possible for her. Unfortunately Jon ended up having to go out of town for a memorial service early the next morning and I had been battling a nasty cold/flu/sinus/something for two weeks so we decided it was best to head home after the present opening so we could just get some rest in our own beds. Despite the change in plans we still had a great night celebrating Nonna, having lots of treats, riding the train, and of course spending time together.
