Family Fun at the Fair

On Thursday Reed had his semi-annual Allergist appointment and Jon was able to make time to come along which was great because I don't love having both boys with me for these appointments and he has so much more experience with allergies and asthma I never feel like I get all of his questions answered when I go solo (probably because I'm busy with two kids). Anyway it was a good appointment, the doctor spent a bunch of time with us, we are tweaking Reed's medicine routine a little, and have plans in the next year to have his lungs tested and also to have a blood test done to see if he's possibly outgrown any of his food allergies.

After the lengthy doctors visit we grabbed an early lunch at Chipotle and headed to The Big Fresno Fair (fair food and Reed don't really mingle well). We managed to go to the animal barn, the Egypt exhibit where we met up with the Parkinsons, take photo booth pictures, and spend time at the Kiddie Carnival. This was Kieran's first time at the Fair and it was crazy to think that the last time we were there I was only weeks away from having him. The kids were both pretty tired and passed out almost the minute we buckled them into their car seats (fyi . . .that is water not soda in the picture down below). There was definitely a lot more they would have loved doing so I think we will be going back for many years to come!!!
