Thanksgiving Beach Break Part 2

After a fun few days in Avila the Ketelsens had to head home but lucky for us the Rodriguez Family joined us for the final two nights. Kieran is obsessed with Connor and had been literally counting down to this trip for the last month. The boys were all super sweet together and had a great time playing at the beach all day, making up games at the condo in the evening, and hitting up the aquarium before heading home. Emilia was pretty entertained by all of the action and us Moms and Dads even had a chance to relax and have a glass (or more) of wine together.  It was a great way to start a week off of work and time very well spent with family and friends.

Thanksgiving Beach Break Part 1

Last month some of the guys were hanging out and George mentioned they were thinking about going to Avila for a few days the week of Thanksgiving. We hadn't thought of going away, but the stars aligned and Jon and I both managed to take a full week off of work (for the fist time in years). The Ketelsens were also available so they joined us for the first two nights of the trip. C was so sweet and got the primos matching pajamas so we tried to get group pictures a few times. We also played on the beach a ton and Lyla had her fist official slumber party with the boys. It was great being able to unplug for a few days!!!
