Kieran's 4th Birthday

The day before Kieran's actual Birthday he had a small Birthday celebration at school. He chose donuts as his special treat and when we were picking them up he stopped in the parking lot on our way back to the car to declare how happy he was and how he knew it was going to be his best day ever and then gave me a big hug. It was one of the sweetest moments ever!!! Jon and I made a guest appearance at K's preschool to watch him be celebrated by his teachers and all of his school friends. He was grinning from ear to ear the entire time we were there.

 

The morning of Kieran's Birthday we were out the door at 7:30 for back to back soccer games. The Bug had a great game and a huge crowd cheering him on, even G-Momma, Gran, Papa, and Aunt Di Di came all the way to Kingsburg to watch. Somehow in all of the excitement I failed to get any crowd shots, but trust me when I say it was an impressive group.

Since we had rushed out the door for soccer on Kieran's actual Birthday we had missed our pancake breakfast tradition and had to do a makeup breakfast on Sunday. Luckily, Kieran didn't seem to mind one bit having another day of celebrating in his honor!
