Twas the Night Before Halloween

C and Tio once again hosted an awesome Halloween party this year. The theme was "groups" and it was so fun to see what everyone came up with. It took us a while to decide what to go as because I told the boys (Jon included) that we all had to agree and then finally had to narrow it down myself and then do some negotiating so I could start working on the costumes. In the end we went as Pac-Man, the Ghosts, and the Cherries. This was a great choice for the boys because their outfits were basically pajamas!!! I created the outfits myself and absolutely loved how they turned out.

Grandma and Grandpa came to our house ahead of time to walk with us over to the party. Kieran was so excited when they got here he couldn't stop running around and trying to explain everyone's costumes. Reed also loved the costumes and the moment we opened the front door they were literally running in circles around the driveway. My favorite part was Grandma putting the boys' shoes on and then having to put Jon's shoes on for him because he couldn't bend over in his getup (oops!).

The party was great and I wish we had been able to stay longer but Reed hadn't napped all week and Kieran had woken up multiple times the night before and had gotten very little sleep after 4:00 am so we decided not to push it and only stayed about 45 minutes passed bedtime. Everyone did a great job with their costumes and in addition to all of C's great decorations Tio gave the kids a haunted hayride that they all absolutely loved!

The Parkinson/Raven/Martinez Family all came dressed as bank robbers with their kids as the stolen bank bags. They even got Lisa and Larry (their Mom and her husband) to dress as Sheriffs but I failed to get a picture of them.
