Decorating Christmas Cookies

On the Wednesday before Christmas I left work early and got home in time to put Kieran down for a nap and start baking cookies with Reed. We made sugar cookies and some strawberry thumbprints and then were joined by Grandma and G-Momma to help us with some chocolate covered rice krispie/sunbutter balls and to decorate the sugar cookies. Reed loved having G-Momma read to him while we waited on the cookies to cool, then we got down to business and had a great time over-decorating our cookies. Kieran woke up just in time to sample some of our creations and to have a dance party with Grandma. Reed also managed to teach G-Momma how to play Go-Fish according to his and Grandma's rules (I think the takeaway was that he always wins). It was a fun afternoon and hopefully we can make our baking day into an annual tradition with both of the boys!!!
