It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

After a bout of sickness kept us away from the Christmas tree lighting in Kingsburg last weekend I was super excited that both boys were well enough to go to the Electrical Farm Equipment parade in Reedley this past Thursday. The parade was great this year and the forecast for rain kept a lot of people away, which is disappointing for the city but great for those of us that had plenty of room to watch and let kids roam around a bit. Grandpa went early and made sure we had a good spot and played with the boys while we waited for the parade to start. Nonna, Pepe, the Ketelsens, the Suemotos, and the Parkinsons all came too and of course, being in Reedley, we ran into a bunch of other people we know. I love how the boys react totally differently to certain things and the parade was a great example - Reed just stared and didn't talk much and even when you asked him a question he would just nod with a blank facial expression. Kieran on the other hand was shouting out about Santa Claus, Olaf, Christmas lights, trees, and tractors and if you asked him a question he would give you a verbal answer with a huge smile on his face. Even Jon admitted the parade was fun this year, which is BIG in this house, so yay for a great first holiday outing!!!
