A Birthday Celebration for Gran

Last weekend we celebrated Gran's Birthday. The actual day was a week earlier but between parties, weddings, travel, etc. this was the first opportunity we had to get together. Gran and Papa got up early to drive all the way down to make it to watch Reed's soccer game. He was so excited that they were there he started jumping up and down in the middle of the game when he spotted them! After the game we met back up at C and Tio's house and Aunt Di Di was able to join us. The boys gave Gran the Birthday drawings they had made for her, the kids took a few spins in Lyla's jeep, Pepe made a lunch full of some of Gran's favorite foods, gifts were opened, pumpkin cheesecake was consumed, and we were able to spend time together until we had to go home for Kieran's nap. It was a jam-packed morning, but also really lovely!
